Ingredients
Sloppy Joe
- 10 oz Ground beef
- 1/4 cup Ketchup
- 4 TBSP Water
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 TBSP Yellow mustard
- 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 Soft rolls lightly toasted
- 2 Pickle spears
Cheese and Crackers
- 12 Crackers
- 12 slices Your favorite block cheese example: pepper jack, cheddar, gruyere, etc
Apple Cider
- 24 oz Apple cider cold
Instructions
- Prep ingredients per the instructions above.
- Make sloppy Joe: In a nonstick pan over medium heat, cook the beef until no longer pink and drain the grease. Stir in the ketchup, water, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and garlic powder, and season with salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer until the sauce is well combined and thickened.
- Lightly toast the roll.
- Assemble: Spoon the sloppy joe onto the bread.
- Lay the cheese slices onto the crackers.
- Serve: Enjoy the sloppy joe with cheese and crackers, pickle, and apple cider.
