Ingredients
- 4 Sub rolls split lengthwise and lightly toasted
- 4 tbsp Yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup Onion diced
- 12 oz Shaved steak
- 2 tsp Steak seasoning montreal steak seasoning or comparable brand
- 4 oz Monterey Jack Cheese Sliced
- 2 cups Romaine lettuce shredded
- 8 slices Tomato
- 1/2 cup Banana peppers sliced
- 2 Pickles halved
- 2 oz Potato chips
Instructions
- Lightly toast the rolls. Spread mustard on both halves.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Sauté the onion until soft. Add in the beef and steak seasoning; sauté until the beef is no longer pink and somewhat crisp; season with salt and pepper if needed.
- Top with cheese and cover with a lid until the cheese has melted. Portion the meat onto the bread, along with lettuce, tomato, and banana peppers.
- Cut in half and serve with pickles and chips.
