Spaghetti and Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Marinara sauce see recipe or use store bought (use more if desired)
  • 1/4 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1/2 tsp Dried oregano
  • 8 oz Spaghetti or pasta of your choice
  • 4 slices Italian Bread toasted
  • 4 tsp Parmesan cheese grated

Instructions

  • Heat the sauce in a pot until a low simmer is achieved.
  • In a bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, milk, ground beef, oregano, and season with salt and pepper. Mix until well combined. Using your hands, form the meat into equally sized balls.
  • Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the meatballs in batches without crowding the pan and sear until nicely browned (about 3 min per side).
  • Add meatballs into the pot with the sauce, partially cover with a lid, stirring occasionally and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • In a pot of boiling salted water cook the pasta according to package instructions and drain well.
  • Remove the sauce from the heat. Ladle the sauce over the pasta and serve with meatballs, a side of bread and parmesan cheese over top.
