Ingredients
- 3 cups Marinara sauce see recipe or use store bought (use more if desired)
- 1/4 cup Breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp Milk
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1/2 tsp Dried oregano
- 8 oz Spaghetti or pasta of your choice
- 4 slices Italian Bread toasted
- 4 tsp Parmesan cheese grated
Instructions
- Heat the sauce in a pot until a low simmer is achieved.
- In a bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, milk, ground beef, oregano, and season with salt and pepper. Mix until well combined. Using your hands, form the meat into equally sized balls.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the meatballs in batches without crowding the pan and sear until nicely browned (about 3 min per side).
- Add meatballs into the pot with the sauce, partially cover with a lid, stirring occasionally and simmer for 20 minutes.
- In a pot of boiling salted water cook the pasta according to package instructions and drain well.
- Remove the sauce from the heat. Ladle the sauce over the pasta and serve with meatballs, a side of bread and parmesan cheese over top.
