Ingredients
- 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
- pinch Salt
- ½ tsp Baking powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 1 tbsp Brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 1.5 cups Milk or more if needed
- Nonstick spray
- 6 oz Chicken sausage links sliced
- 2 tbsp Nutella spread
- 1 tsp Powdered sugar
- 2 Banana sliced (Check the Fruit guide to substitute seasonal fruits)
Instructions
- Preheat a waffle maker.
- To make the waffles: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Slowly whisk in 1/2 of the milk a little at a time until a thick batter forms (use more milk if needed). Make sure not to over-mix the batter.
- Lightly grease the waffle maker with non-stick spray. Cook the waffle batter in the waffle maker according to the directions for the waffle maker.
- In a non-stick pan over medium heat brown the chicken sausage on both sides.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, bring the Nutella and remaining milk to a simmer while stirring until the Nutella melts and you have a smooth consistency.
- Top the waffles with powdered sugar, drizzle with warm Nutella. Serve with banana and chicken sausage.

Pro Tip - If you do not have a waffle maker substitute store bought waffles.
