Ingredients
- 4 Sub rolls split lengthwise and lightly toasted
- 1 tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup Green bell pepper diced
- 1/2 cup Onion diced
- 12 oz Deli roast beef chopped
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 2 tsp Steak seasoning montreal steak seasoning or comparable brand
- 4 oz Monterey jack cheese sliced
- 4 tbsp Yellow mustard
- 2 Pickles halved
- 2 oz Potato chips
Instructions
- Lightly toast the rolls.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Sauté the green pepper and onion until soft, (approximately 5-6 minutes). Add in the chopped beef, butter, and steak seasoning; sauté for 3-4 minutes; season with salt and pepper.
- Top with cheese and cover with a lid until the cheese has melted. Portion the meat onto the bread. Serve with mustard or your favorite condiments.
- Cut in half and serve with pickles and chips.
