Ingredients
- 1 pound Chicken breast boneless skinless
- 1 teaspoon Extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup onion finely chopped
- 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Dry mustard
- 1/2 cup Ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Apple cider vinegar
Remaining ingredients:
- 4 rolls 6 inch
- 1 pickle sliced into thin rounds
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. To prepare chicken, combine spices, oil, ketchup, vinegar in a baking dish and mix well; add chicken and rub evenly over chicken. Cover tight with foil. Cook for 30 minutes. Let rest for 5 minutes. Shred pulling apart with 2 forks.
- Toast whole wheat buns. Place shredded chicken on bun and top with pickle slices.
