Ingredients

  • 3/4 pound Ground beef may not need it all
  • 2 tbsp Steak seasoning Montreal steak seasoning or equivalent
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 Onion minced
  • 12 Slider buns presliced in half if available
  • 4 oz Cheddar cheese or your choice of cheese
  • 2 Pickles sliced into rounds

Sauce

  • 1 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Relish
  • 1/4 tsp Chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp Paprika
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  • Preheat cast iron skillet or nonstick pan on medium heat.
  • Mix together the ground beef, steak seasoning, and worchestershire sauce, season generously salt and pepper. Portion the beef into three even bite size chunks per serving.
  • Place them in the pan or skillet and press down with a spatula to flatten them thin. Cook for about 30 seconds per side then remove from the pan and set aside. Work in batches if needed.
  • Turn down the heat to medium and saute the minced onion in the beef grease for 2 - 3 minutes then remove from the pan.
  • Layer the slider rolls with the burger, onions, cheese, and pickle. Place on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 5 - 7 minutes or until the cheese is melted completely.
  • In the meantime, mix together the mayo, ketchup, relish, chili powder, paprika, garlic powder in a bowl.
  • Serve the sliders with the sauce on the side.

Notes

Steak Internal Temperatures:
  • Rare: 115 - 120 degrees F
  • Medium Rare: 125 - 130 degrees F
  • Medium: 135 - 140 degrees F
  • Medium Well: 145 - 150 degrees F
  • Well Done: 160 degrees F
