Ingredients
Pizza Bread
- 1 cup Crushed tomatoes
- 2 TBSP Pesto sauce
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1/8 tsp Dried oregano
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup Red onion sliced thin (or use your favorite topping)
- 1 cup Mushrooms sliced (or use your favorite topping)
- 1 cup Carrots peeled and cut into 3 inch sticks
- 4 slices Your choice of bread example: French baguette, sour dough, or your favorite kind
- 1 TBSP Extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese shredded
- 4 TBSP Ranch dressing
Sparkling Water
- 24 oz Sparkling water cold
Instructions
- Preheat the oven broiler on low.
- Add the tomato, pesto, garlic, and oregano to a blender. Blend until fully combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Prep the ingredients per the instructions above.
- Lightly toast the bread. Then set aside.
- Heat the oil in a saute pan on medium heat. Saute the mushrooms until golden brown and softened. Set aside.
- Spread the sauce onto the bread, covering it well. Evenly distribute the cheese, onions, and mushrooms.
- Place on a foiled-lined baking sheet under the broiler until completely melted. (Keep a watchful eye while using the broiler.)
- Serve the pizza breads with carrot sticks, ranch, and sparkling water.
