Ingredients
Fruit Salad
- 1 cup Pineapple diced into small bite sized pieces
- 1/4 cup Blueberries
- 1 cup Watermelon diced into small bite sized pieces
- 1/3 cup Grapes
- 1/4 cup Pecans chopped
Quiche
- 6 oz Deli ham diced
- 1 cup Gruyere cheese shredded
- 1 Pie Crust 9-inch (thawed if frozen)
- 3 large Egg
- 1.25 cups Half and Half
- 1/4 cup Fresh chives finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp Kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
Iced Tea
- 24 oz Iced tea cold
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C). Set a rack in the middle of the oven and place a baking sheet onto the rack.
- Scatter the ham and cheese into the pie crust. Whisk the eggs, half-and-half, chives, salt and pepper in a large bowl; pour into the crust. Transfer to the hot baking sheet and bake until the eggs are set and the top is lightly browned, about 30 minutes. While baking, make fruit salad.
- Let the quiche cool for 5 to 10 minutes before portioning.
- Prep fruit per instruction above and transfer to a bowl. Add the pecans and toss to combine.
- Serve: Portion the quiche, serve with fruit salad and iced tea.
